Between 28 July and 29 October 2012, the Huntington Library will be hosting an exhibition entitled, Royals, Courtiers, and Confidants: Early English Portrait Drawings from The Huntington’s Art Collections.
The exhibition is the culmination of a semester course on English cultural history undertaken by students at Claremont McKenna College. Students researched the portraits, and their work forms the basis of the exhibition’s object labels.
This looks like a wonderful exhibition, and I’m now making plans to be able to see it in October. Further details about the project at Claremont McKenna College can be found here.
