Posts have been a little thin on the ground during 2013; this is something I hope to rectify over the coming weeks.
In the meantime, today is not only Easter Sunday, it is also the 159th Oxford and Cambridge Boat Race. I’ll be cheering on the dark blues this afternoon. Who’s with me?
It is also International Hug a Medievalist Day!
Established by Sarah Laseke, who blogs over at The Clerk’s Tale. You can read an interview with her about the day on the Medievalists.net site. It also attracted the attention of the New Yorker back in 2011.
So, please do hug your medievalists today!
